All the children in the village attended the sunday service in the church

About this memory

"It was the only time that the trainee sailors on the James Arthur Ship were allowed onto "dry land".

"Mount Zion Church as it was called was off a Christian denomination. It could seat 1,000 people and was the focal point of the village. The entire cost of this building was met by an anonymous donor".
