My Dad gave me £2 and 15 shillings for a year's Subscription to Drumsheugh Baths.

1st August 1957

About this memory

I would like to say that in 1957 £2 and 15 Shillings was a lot of money. (That's equivalent in today's decimal money (August 2017) to £2.75 pence).

On checking today (August 2017) with Drumsheugh Bath staff, a single junior years subscription would cost £276.00.

Description below of both sides of the " Members Ticket ".

"The Drumsheugh Baths Club, Limited * MEMBER'S * Date of expiry 1/8/58"

* "It is requested that this Ticket be exhibited when desired to the Bath Manager or Hall Porter" *
