Light and Dark

About this memory
Victoria Street in Edinburgh is one of my favourite places to go for a walk at lunchtime, it's bright and colourful and usually just busy enough to feel lively but not overly busy even though it adjoins the Grass Market, a tourist attraction.
Other photos I see online always focus on the colour, as the bright shop fronts are what its known for, but it's the light and how it hits the street which has always captured me, from the top deck to the street level, the sun always seems to find it and every time I visit, its like the sun is pointing out a new store for me to try, a family tea shop, a lunch box treat, somewhere for a special tipple as a gift. Victoria Street is like a mini high street for those in the know.
