About this memory
How you see the icon that is the Forth Rail Bridge depends entirely on how you look at it. On a sunny day, from the green banks of the Forth it can be a beautiful picturesque scene. On another day or from another angle the size and strength of the structure are prominent.
The rail bridge is an iconic symbol of Scotland, spanning the river Forth joining Edinburgh and Fife, but its rarely studied from below, the preference is to look at it as a whole, but this risks in the viewer missing the beauty of the bridge as a feat of engineering. A chance to be proud of the accomplishment right here on our door step.
