Add a photo of the community activity from your area to be entered into the Breaking the News photography competition and a chance to win afternoon tea for two.
The competition runs until 30 June 2022 and entries must be tagged with ‘BreakingTheNews’.

When you submit content to this site, any personal data only appears in relation to your content and is not re-used for any purpose by the Council.
The website does store cookies on your computer, but they do not contain personal or other data that could be used to identify you.
In line with our Information Governance policies, we aim to archive or delete data from our systems when it's no longer actively useful for providing the relevant service to you.
You can use Edinburgh Collected without registering for an account. If you do wish to register for an account, we request personal information from you on registration that will be used to manage your account and enable you to add memories and create scrapbooks.
Data is shared with EDINA (A division of Information Services – The University of Edinburgh in their role as data processor). EDINA will not view client data or digital assets except as necessary in the course of development or support.
We will not use your data for any other reason except on occasion, use the email you have supplied on registration to alert you to information that may affect your use of Edinburgh Collected e.g. system interruptions, prompts to check and update your personal data.
You can delete your account at any time. On deletion, all personal data used on registration is destroyed.
Conditions of processing
In processing personal information, The City of Edinburgh Council must comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Article 6(1)(b) processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract.
Data will remain in the EU.
